Skate guards are for figure skaters and us old guys that want our blades to
last as long as the boots.  Well, and also for pond skaters.

Forgetting to remove your skate guards can have a similarly disastrous
effect.  You don't see Maine players with skate guards, do you?

    BAN THE PUCK during pre-game warm-ups and it'll never happen again!
