I certainly agree with Dan here that travel should not be a factor in
whether Vt. Should be in H.E.

And if Vermont DID get into HE, wouldn't the same travel problems present
themselves ?  According to Mapquest, Boston to Orono is 243 miles, Boston to
Burlington, VT is 216 miles.

Why couldn't all matchups be "home and home" in the same year except for
certain "distant" schools ?  Couldn't Vermont and Maine matches be slated
for two at home in one year, two away the next ?

Frankly, the logistical issue is more difficult for the league concerning
the assignment of on-ice officials than for issues concerning the players or
the fans.

I'd rather VT be in the league than out; if all it boiled down to was the
travel "problem"
