Another loss for the New Hampshire Mildcats, this time in tournament play at
Minnesota, losing to U Minnesota 4-2 in their first meeting since the April
loss in Buffalo.

Minnesota's season record improves to over .500, thereby making them again a
TUC in the rankings, and probably getting them back into the national polls,
albeit in the lower tier. UHN likely will be playing firehouse again this
week: that is, since the alarm is sounding, it means another slide down the
poll !!

Ayers' defence once again left him exposed, with the Gophers launching 48
SOG in the contest. From all reports, were it not for a stellar performance
by the Mildcat netminder, the locals would have been induced to spell the
word "Minnesota" many many more times than the four which were allocated.

Gots to love this trend, eh ?

Blue out night at the Alfond on 1/30 for the national TV audience ?

Happy Holidays to all on the list, and, as the one and only Elvis sang:
may you have a "Blue Christmas" (UMaine Blue, this is).
