I'm still trying to decide if I will jump or not, but I agree with the
poster who said last night was by far the most frustrating game of this
recent stretch.

For starters Maine deserved to win, they played their hearts out.  There was
no question of whether they were playing with heart, they were.  They were
also finishing checks and playing the body and working their tails off down
low.  They played so hard and dominated most of that game.

When they made it 2-1 I thought that they might have finally climbed the
hill.  Then it all came crashing down, hard.  I also agree it was completely
unacceptable to let that player get behind your defense while protecting the
lead.

What makes it more frustrating is UNH/BC tied last night so had we held on,
things would have been set up perfectly.  Now can only hope for a #2 seed at
best.

I thought Frank Doyle played ok, but I see no reason to not play Howard
tonight.  Doyle made some good saves, but the first goal I think was a
little soft.  Maine didn't allow any shots the first 10 minutes of the game,
yet trailed 1-0 after the first period.

I think tonight's game is absolutely critical for the confidence of the
team.  If they don't win tonight, I think they could really have a hard time
just advancing past the quarterfinals.  It is playoff time starting tonight.
