Here's how things breakdown with one game left for 8 of the 9 teams in HE:

#1: Boston University (clinched) 36 pts - plays at BC Sunday night.

#2: UNH - 30 pts - can finish no lower than 3rd and that's only if BC
defeats BU Sunday night and UNH loses to UMass.

#3: BC - 29 pts - can finish has high as second and as low as 4th. If BC
beats BU Sunday, and UNH loses, BC takes the #2 seed. If BC ties BU
Sunday, BC will be the #3 seed regardless of what Maine does against
Providence Saturday. A BC loss and a Maine win means BC falls to #4.

#4: Maine - 28 pts - will finish either #3 or #4. A win versus Providence
Saturday and a BC loss is the only way to move into the #3 spot because
Maine loses the tiebreaker with BC. If Maine ties or loses to Providence
on Saturday, the Black Bears clinch 4th-place.

#5: Providence - 21 pts - that's right, with the tie Providence moves into
the #5 spot by virtue of their 3-0 record against Northeastern this
season. A win versus Maine on Saturday will ensure a trip to Orono for the
Friars, while a loss coupled with a NU loss at Lowell will mean the #6 seed.

#6: Northeastern - 21 pts - do not control their own destiny. NU can move
to #5 by gaining at least a point and having Providence lose to Maine, but
if they lose they will be #6.

#7: Merrimack - 18 pts (clinched) - Merrimack has no games remaining and
are locked into #7.

#8: UMass - 14 pts (clinched) - UMass clinched the final playoff spot and
elminated rival Lowell by tying UNH Friday.

Possible Quarterfinal matchups:

QF#1: #8 UMass at #1 Boston University
QF#2: #7 Merrimack at #2 UNH or BC
QF#3: #6 Providence/Northeastern at #3 BC or Maine
QF#4: #5 Northeastern/Providence at #4 Maine or BC
