Jeff says: I guess I just like Jimmy's style better, and probably because when I first saw him (last year on tv), his ability for his age is what made me appreciate him. Again, not that I don't appreciate Doyle, as he didn't exactly get much time prior to last year.
Jeff, we sure aren't debating -- I'm just waiting to see what a terrific goalie Jimmy CAN be when he matures.
And, Doyle didn't get any time prior to last year because he was sitting out a year after transferring here from the University of Guelph. He sat the 2001-2002 season waiting for a chance to play and did have the second lowest GAA in the country last year, his first year of play at Maine. Just FYI. He is a senior and this is his second and final year of eligibility. He graduates in May of 2004.
He's also a Scholar-Athlete with a 3.83 GPA and tons of academic awards in Finance and Management Information Systems, which makes him Ace#1 in my book! I guess I'm just a sucker for a smart athlete, Jeff! :-)
