One of my really good friends is a BC Superfan and she
said that the last 30 second was definetly really
unfair as was most of the game when BC players were
constantly going after Prestin.  From her view it
looked like in the 3rd period BC was trying whatever
they could do to get under Prestin's skin instead of
putting their focus on scoring more goals.  She
commented that the fact it took 59:30 for someone to
finally succeed in getting under Prestin skin was
quite an accomplishment for Prestin. BUt really
someone can only put up with so much hitting and abuse
before they retaliate and she felt that Prestin
retaliating in theis instance was fully called for.
She actually felt that Patrick should have received a
Major Dsiqualification instead of Prestin.  The entire
game players were told to hit Prestin in whatever way
they could.  BC will never be the best sportsmnship
winners by any means.  SHe also said BC got away with
alot of cheap hits right in front of the refs but that
the refs were focusing on Prestin most of the game.
There has always been bad blood between BC and
Prestin, but really there are 4 other Maine players
and 5 BC players, focus on them as well.

One thing was clear last night, BC outplayed Maine,
but definetly did not play the same game they did
against UMass-Lowell, becasue they were focusing so
much on drawing penalties.

I think Maine will have a much better night tonight,
as long as they focus on this game and put BC behind
them til they come up to visit in March the last
weekend of the season, when they will be in our barn.
Just wait til the BC freshman have to survive in our
barn and especially two nights of it.
