Thank you for the "Bending the Bow" information.  I found the "An owl is an
only bird of poetry" in "Derivations:Selected Poems 1950-1956' beginning
page 131 in a section of the book entitled "Letters".

I am looking for a poem of his entitled "The Shaman".  A quick glance
through about 10 collections of Duncan's work did not reveal it.  I very
probably overlooked it.  Can someone give me a pointer?
