Well I'm really excited about Maine's play this weekend! Not only did
they get the sweep but I thought that they showed at times that they
could play at a championship level. When they work really hard they
dominate and their play is wonderful to watch especially Lev and Teddy.

And I agree that it was also really great to see Wilson play so well and
with such confidence! 31 shots and 31 stops! I'm glad that I don't
have to be so nervous about loosing Bishop.

Great Job Maine!! GO BLUE!!!

PS:
I really do wish that the Hockey East Refs would make the calls as they
have been directed by the NCAA though. It would certainly favor a fast
and skilled team like Maine.

Subject: No sweep excitment

Just curious if anyone noticed...Maine swept Vermont over the weekend,
the first home weekend sweep in some time; the backup goalie had a
shutout in only his second start and had some great saves in both games,
but particularly in the Saturday game in the last couple of minutes (it
was 1-0, for those who didn't know); was the first time this season we
beat a team ahead of us in the HE standings and we played great hockey
in both games. I seem to be the only one excited about that.
