Hi everyone,
There has been an increasing number of messages that LISTSERV is not
delivering because the body of the message contains the e-mail address for
the list.
When you are sending posts and specifically replies to the list, I ask that
you please take an extra second and look at your quoted text that you are
sending on. Please remove anything that doesn't pertain to the point you
are making if possible, especially the headers (i.e. To:, From:,
Reply-To:) -- that extra information included in the body of the message is
causing the problem for some people. What happens is that it ends up
delaying your post from being distributed to the list and I have to make you
resend it (how annoying!!)
I realize that this doesn't apply to everyone, but even I wasn't sure of
what exactly was causing this until I talked to Wayne about it. He set me
straight, of course!! Wayne, please feel free to jump in here if I am not
explaining things correctly!
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to drop me a line.
Thanks,
Deron
