The University of Maine women's hockey team elected Alana Ahearn and
Christina Hedges as team captains for the upcoming season. Ahearn is a
senior and Hedges is a junior. The team opens their season this
Saturday at 1 p.m. in Alfond against Sacred Heart. Also, WMEB, the
campus radio station will broadcast all of their home games (7 games to
be played on campus) this season.
