Students line-up prior to gametime (doors open 1 hour prior to the game, line can start anywhere from 3pm to 5:30pm depending on the opponent) and if they have a valid Mainecard and have paid their fees, then they can get in for "free" I have never
been turned away even for the biggest games.  Mainiac(k)s with their shirts sit together and have a slightly different ticket allotment than do the other students.

Also I don't think it has been, mentioned but because of the increased sale of season tickets there will be very few gameday tickets as opposed to the past when you could walk up before the game and still have a good chance to purchase a ticket.  I
read that in one of the press releases about the sale of the season tickets.
