I've decided to change the deadline for the seedings poll to
tonight (Sun, 3/21) at 9 PM. I know this is a bit late to make
the change and I'm sorry for that but I want it to precede
the NC$$ announcement if possible. I know that the votes will
prob be in before the Miami-LSSU game for the CCHA title
finishes. Therefore, if you want to still want to send me
seedings, you might think about sending 2 contigencies. In other
words,
If Miami wins, _____________
If LSSU wins, _____________

and I will just choose whatever is appropriate.

I will probably not be able to post these before the NC$$ seedings
are announced (it takes time to compile) but I may offer a comparison
to the NC$$'s.

Here's how it goes:
Vote for your top 6 seeds in both the east region and the west
region. Make sure to separate east and west and make sure to
seed them #1-6 in each.

Bear in mind that Conference Tournament Champions: Maine,
Clarkson (yeah!) and Minnesota have secured automatic bids
to the tournament. You still can seed them however you want,
though. The winner of the LSSU/Miami game will also get
an auto bid.

Since there is a good chance that only 5 teams from the ECAC and
Hockey East will deserve bids, if you are going to put someone from
the CCHA or WCHA into the east region please only choose one (don't
put 2 western teams into the east and 1 eastern team into the west,
for example).

Below I am listing some of the top
teams in the nation who have some sort of shot at an NCAA bid.

HOCKEY EAST AND ECAC TEAMS CCHA AND WCHA TEAMS

Clarkson$$ 20-9-5 Minnesota$$ 21-11-8
BU 28-8-2 Miami 26-7-5
UNH 18-17-3 LSSU 26-7-5
UMass-Lowell 20-17-3 Western Michigan 20-16-2

 was one)
