There have been two inquiries as to what the tie-breakers in the WCHA are to
decide who finishes in second place.

I just talked to assistant coach Bill Butters and the official word is that
Head-to-Head competition is the first tie-breaker. If that is tied, as it is
between Minnesota and Wisconsin, then they move on to number of conference
wins.

Since Wisconsin is 18-10-2 and Minnesota is 15-9-6, even if the Gophers won
their last two games and if the Badgers lost their last two....Wisconsin would
still be in second place.

Thanks to Chris Skowen and Rob Holmes for helping us to get the record
straight!
