Maine went 42-1-2 that year(92-3) with a loss vs. BU 6-7(Feb 19) in OT at
Alfond(only game I missed all year-flu). The ties came vs. Providence
3-3(Oct 24, 2nd game of season, Alfond) and Clarkson 4-4(Jan 15, Alfond).
Sometimes all the games are big. You could argue that the BU loss and the
PC tie were 'acceptable,' but the Clarkson tie was not. Emotion can be a big
factor in a game- squad talent means nothing if you don't show up to play.
