Well I didn't remember the report correctly!  and to stop the onslaught of
replies I've already received  in reference to my mistake, here's a correction. ;-)
 
It was MTU's first road shutout since Jan 15, 1980 against MSU at Munn arena
during Ron Mason's first year, by goaltender Darcy Way.
