Though RIT plays sufficient D-I games this season to be eligible for the D-I NCAA Tournament, it is ineligible until the 2007-2008 season. 2. Friday of last week marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Durwood Heal, inventor of the Heal Point System. Interesting that the compromises necessary to allow HEAL to be calculated without a computer don't keep it from equaling the accuracy of ranking systems being used today. Of course, there are better systems (RHEAL and even better KRACH), but HEAL holds its own predicting wins with the likes of RPI, PWR, CHODR and others.
