For the UMASS series Maine has to concern selves with:
1) getting in front of net
2) shut down the powerplay (by staying out of box/anticipate their pp unit)
3) squash their top unit. Be physical with their top 5.

In the end it comes down to how Maine plays

Any difference in coaching for 2 of 3 series?
Only difference is the fact that you could end up playing 3 games in 3 nights. Don't burn out your top guys, but other than that not much difference.

Goalies
Gametime announcement. 2 Good choices.

Their PP
THey outmuscled them in the front of the net.

Other series
UNH-LOWELL --- Great series (Lowell won up there a couple of years ago) (1/2 of both teams will remember that) Lowell needs solid goaltending. Interesting to see how it will play out.

BU-PC --- 4v5 is going to be great. All three regular season games into OT. Edge to PC because of the home ice. PC really needs to win this to get into the NCAA's, they are definately on the bubble.

BC-MERRIMACK --- MC stomped BC 6-1 just a few weeks ago, but MC doesn't play as well on the road, so he thinks BC has to be the favorite there.

Also Dale played the "sounder" for the promotion of the series that Dan Hannigan made about UMass and its pretty funny and so Whitehead laughed and said he thought it was pretty good.
