Here's a look at another one of UMaine's Defensemen. And his contributions this season.

Maines record before he had his first * (no stats for games at alaska) "minus night" (meaning a night where he ended up -1 or worse): 15-1-2

His personal +/- at that point = +21

Maine's record since his first "minus game" = 9-8-2
His +/- in those games = -9

Maines record since the last time this player finished the night +1 or better: 4-7-1
His +/- in those games = -15

His +/- in games Maine has LOST THIS SEASON= -15
His +/- in games Maine has WON THIS SEASON= +27

He's taken a lot of abuse for his bad turnovers and the outcome its showed in those games. I think these numbers back that up perfectly. I know this is kind of like a chicken or the egg type deal but having seen most of these games people will
agree that it was the turnovers that led to the losses not the losses that let to the "minuses"

Congratulations Mr. Francis Nault!

His last "plus" game was a +2 in the 4-4 tie with Lowell at home on January 25th. His first "minus" game was the game at PC the game they lost after returning from Florida.

I'll let you decide what you think of those numbers. At this pace I'll have made a case for every Maine D-Man to be benched the rest of the way:)
