For clarifaction purposes, Michigan Tech does run the Great Lakes
Invitational and has since its legendary coach John MacInnes founded the
tournament some 30 years ago. It is not a CCHA event. Because Michigan and
Michigan State are in the tournament every year, some folks get the idea
it's a CCHA event.
