1. Help a blind or visually impaired person today!

Did you know that Maine librarians may certify blind, visually impaired,
and physically handicapped (cannot hold a book) community members for
Talking Books, Large Print and Descriptive Video services from Maine
State Library Outreach? The application is available online:

http://www.maine.gov/msl/outreach/lbph/talkingbooks/application.htm

(Note: Only applications for people with reading disabilities--like
dyslexia--must be certified by a doctor)

Thanks for helping spread the word!

If you would like a small poster or flier, please let me know.

2. Summer orders to Highsmith should be sent in by the April 1 deadline:

http://www.cslpreads.org/

3. Summer Themes, one more time

While about 33 votes were recently cast online for a couple dozen or so
future CSLP slogan and theme possibilities, those votes were spread out
so evenly over so many choices that it was very difficult to identify a
pattern.

Therefore I have narrowed down the list to fewer options, and would like
to offer you one more opportunity to vote on a 2009 slogan and 2010
theme in advance of my attendance at the April conference, where I will
try to represent you as best I can:

Many thanks for your participation!
