New webinars for December and January have been added to the statewide CE calendar ( http://evanced.info/maine/evanced/eventcalendar.asp ).  Topics this month include financial literacy and libraries, the common core and audio books, iPads and learners, managing the changing reference environment, data driven academic libraries, early literacy and more.



The third webinar in our genre study with Joyce Saricks is December 4 and is about the genres that appeal to the emotions.  Joyce is an absolute fountain of information so be sure to register.  Even if you can't make it Wednesday morning, you'll be sent the link to the archive if you've registered.  The link to the recording will also be added to the voluntary certification list (http://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/ce/libcert.shtml )



The Utah State Library is sponsoring a series of webinars on media labs beginning in January.  This series is open to participants nationwide so check it out.
