If you were able to attend Friday's Tri-District Council meeting or have
had a chance to take a look at the notes Ellen posted, then you know
that we learned a lot about advocacy being a grassroots effort.
Snapshot day is about as grassroots as it gets.  If every library in
Maine participated, think of the power those pictures, stories and
statistics would have.
 
As we've said before, if tomorrow isn't a good day for your library,
then pick another day this week to take your snapshot.   Ask your
patrons for stories about how the library has changed their lives and
get some good high resolution pictures of the transformational power of
libraries.
