people keep asking that question, but if you look at
the goal production over the past 2 seasons it has
come about 70% from the powerplay.... Tim sets the PP
up so that the object is to get ONE guy to shoot and
all the others move the puck around to that one
guy.... this past season, it was Levs from the right
circle....( last season it seemed like it was Derek or
Greg from the right goal line.)
the guys who do all the scoring are the guys who are
out on the PP. The guys who never score, are the ones
who are not out on teh PP. Bret scored something
like 23 of his 25 points on the PP and the other 2
came 4 on 4, in other words he scored ONLY when the
other team had 4 guys on the ice (this is about 95%
correct... but it is still an observation)
I am confident that BIlly will do quite well this
coming season. He was not the guy who was supposed to
take all the PP shots last year, maybe this year he
will be.
Clarke was scoring to beat the band at the beginning
of the season, he will be back and better, and
hopefully uninjured.
Duffy can score a lot better than Lundin, IF HE IS
GIVEN THE ICE TIME.
Keenan can score.
Bells could score a lot of garbage goals if TIm would
allow him to set up out front. Tyler could do the
same.
i am not worried
