The most interesting number to me from last night's BC/BU game was: 10

That was the number of shots on goal by BU against BC -- the ENTIRE game.

Translated, that is a save percentage for Matti of ONLY .70

Compare that to the lofty numbers for out netminders this season of .952 for
Howard and .924 for Doyle and you can see what a groin pull can do. Jerry
York was interviewed on radio prior to the game and said Matti was fully
ready for the contest, yet in post game gave excuses as reported in the
local papers.

The NC$$ cares very little about student attendance; they do care about the
well-heeled who spring for the higher post-season prices and thereby
presenting themselves to the Tournament "marketing partners".

BC did not help themselves AT ALL in their efforts for favorable seeding and
venue in the Round of 16 by last night's performance, both on the ice AND
off.

Oh, it's going to be wicked important what goes on at the Heights tonight...

Don't you just love it (while hating at the same time to root at all for
Jackie Parker)....
