The point is that Nero recognized too many tix were set aside and this
year we have 500 new season ticket holder seats! The number of student
tickets seems to vary depending on perceived demand.

Having a bad day? I'm not close to who gets what, but I have absolutely
no reason to believe the shop is anything but run in an excellent
manner.

If you see an empty seat in the center of the arena, it is almost for
sure a season ticket holder no-show. If you look at the upper rows of
sections FFF and MMM, you'll have a great gauge on how close to a "sell
out" the game is, for they sell those (restricted view) seats last.

I don't know of an admission mismanagement, but I do think Nero is
trying to put paying customers and students in the seats, while
generally requiring the administration and staff provide excellent
customer service.

And I sure hope Patrick Nero loves it here and decides to stay for more
than a while. For like Walsh and Cosgrove, he will receive greater
monetary offers than UMaine can provide.

And we've got a pretty fair Men's Hockey team, too! ;-)

cheers, wayne
