From today's Portsmouth Herald:

UNH coach Dick Umile said there has been some discussion about changing the
size of the Whittemore Center ice surface. The rink currently measures 200
feet by 100 feet, but Umile said he would like to see it trimmed to 200 feet
by 90 feet. "It would make for a better game," he said. "It would mean more
checking, more pucks would funnel to the net - and we could add more seats.
Next year would probably be too soon, but who knows? Maybe they could do it."

My comment:

Do it ASAP Dickie, unless you want your team to suffer another heartbreaking
loss in the Tournament on a smaller sheet...

BTW, Alfond is 200 x 85

We got Two...how about you ???
