A not entirely irrelevant sidelight on the issue of Pound's relevance:
have
we all noticed that Richard Posner's estimate of the top 100 intellectuals
published some time ago in the NY Times put Pound at number 60, ahead
ofGloria Steinem,Sartre,Solzhenitsyn, and even himself.
