Just because a line may work well against team "a, b & c", doesn't mean it will against team "d,e &f". It is apparent that nothing worked against bc. Coach's will / should change 'em up as needed. Especially when your opponent scouts your game and makes their plan to shut down a certain player or line.

isn't this a DISCUSSION board?
I know far too many people who have discontinued participating with this group beacuse it is NOT for discussion (and that can meant disagreement) but rather for 100% positive rah rah GO MAINE EVEYTHIGN YOU DO IS 100% perfect.
so what is it? Discussion or blind following and agreement with everything that our heros do?
we all like the team, that is why we are here... the discussion is interesting, but jsut sayign over and over that we need to stand behind our boys 100% and never disagree with any decision made by any of them "because they are playing thier hearts out" gets boring, ... doesn't it?
I have a question for discussion... Why all teh line switching?
JAckson and KAriya seemed to be working together... Why did LAwson play with KAriya against Merrimack... and I could not care less what Swawn woutl have done... what woudl YOU have done... discuss...

I have read some recent posts that began with or contained the phrase " Shawn wouldn't allow that" or "Shawn wouldn't put up with that". ENOUGH ALREADY. Shawn is gone. In doing this you diminish the accomplishments of the players and coaching staff and you tarnish Shawn's memory as well. Whatever success this year's team has will be there own, not in memory of Shawn. It is disingenuous to think that their record or whatever success they have this year would have been greater with Shawn. While Shawn will always be a part of Maine Hockey, his era has ended. Sometimes a bad game is just that.
