As of 12:00 on Friday, the following public libraries have not yet submitted
their annual reports. The deadline is today so please try to get your
reports in ASAP. Some of you I have heard from and I know your reports are
on their way. Thank you for letting me know. Some others on the list have
started their reports online but they have not been submitted. If you see
your library on this list and you thought you submitted your report, please
let me know. It could be that you left a line blank and this program won't
let you submit unless all the lines have been filled in (you can use "0" or
n/a). I would be happy to submit the report for you once I know that it is,
as far as your concerned, complete.

I would like to thank all of you who have submitted your reports. I would
also like to thank all those libraries who added notes or sent me emails
describing differences in reporting figures. This is such a HUGE help when
it comes to filing the federal report. I appreciate your hard work.
Remember, we collect this information for YOUR benefit - both at the state
and federal level. It gives us valuable information when fighting for
library legislation. Your library peers also use the information on
countless occassions at the local level. We at the state library believe
all of our libraries are important - no matter how big or small; no matter
if your library is run solely by volunteers. If your doors are open to the
public, then you are an important resource to this state.

Thank you all for your cooperation and hard work. Again, I would like to
mention that the quicker I get the reports in, the quicker I can compile the
FY04 statistics for the feds and for all of you.
