I am including two lists. The first list is from libraries who have not
submitted their reports. (There are several other libraries that have not
completed their reports but have notified me that they couldn't meet the
deadline and are still working on them.) The second list is composed of
libraries that have started their reports online but have not submitted
them. I have already heard from many of you on the list so I know you are
still working on them. That is fine. I'm just concerned that some
libraries have completed their reports but have not submitted them. I can't
tell for sure that a report is complete until it has been submitted. If you
see the name of your library on the second list and your report is complete,
please let me know.

Please be aware that in order to receive benefits from the state library,
including consulting services from our three districts, SCOOP discounts, the
Five for Five program from the CMLD, and many other benefits, you are
supposed to be submitting an annual report. If you are applying for a New
Century grant or if you have a free internet connection through the MSLN
then you MUST file an annual report. For the New Century Grant, having a
current report on file is part of the minimum standards to qualify. As for
the MSLN connections, these are made available through federal funding and
we have to have annual reports on file to prove to them that you are a
functioning public library, otherwise you might be in danger of losing your
free connection. We do not want to see this happen. Please help us to help
you and send in your report, even if you can't complete all the information.
We have several libraries that we have not heard from for quite a few years.
WE NEED YOUR INPUT. If you need assistance in filling out your report, I
would be happy to help you over the phone. The District Consultants are
also available to help. PLEASE GET YOUR REPORTS IN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If
you need more time, please just call or email me.
