This is my final reminder to all E-rate folks that you have only 24 hours to
get your 471s completed and certified.  The window closes tomorrow.

Problems noted:

1.  Lots of you have called because you chose the wrong certification route
at the bottom of Block 6.  Unless you have a received a new PIN # in the
last few weeks you should choose manual /paper filing for your certification
page.  However, if you take the wrong route and end up PINless at the last
minute, keep trying to enter a number because after five tries the
application will default you to the paper version.  Sorry to those of you
who had to do it over because I hadn't discovered this default mechanism
yet.

2.  Many of you couldn't find the POTs info.  Here is the web address:

3,  Some of you also didn't locate the ATM page or the PDF with the Item 21
attachment.  Try this address: http://www.maine.gov/education/technology/

4. The address where you mail your 471 certification pages and Item 21
attachment is on the thrid page of the Block 6 printout.  Don't forget to
send yout certification either certified or return receipt if mailing via
USPS.

5. Next steps??? Wait for Receipt Acknowledgment letter from SLD and that
awful call from PIA.

6. Look for funding letter in April....maybe.
