You have subscribed to the leading electronic fiction resource. NoveList
provides enhanced subject access to over 100,000 fiction titles. With
NoveList, you and your patrons (students) can:
- Find fiction titles based on a favorite author, title, or description.
- Browse lists based on genre or awards (over 1000 pre-made lists).
- Search the database using Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT).
- Search by subject heading, reviews, publishers; basically every field in
the title record.
- Read and use feature articles, book discussion guides, and booktalks
(children and YA) developed exclusively for NoveList.
- Explore materials developed to increase your skills when working with a
reader (found in For Staff Only).
As you can see, NoveList is much more than a database. We strive to provide
the best service possible to help you meet the needs of your patrons or
students.
NOVELIST TRAINING NOW AVAILABLE:
In addition, NoveList provides a complete online Learning Center, which
includes a glossary, site map (table of contents), tutorial, quick start
guide (1-Minute NoveList), advanced searching tips, printable search aids
and much more. Staff, patrons, and students alike, can go through as much
or as little as they need to get started, simply by clicking on the
"NoveList Training - Learning Center" link that is on every page of the
NoveList product.
FEEDBACK IS ALSO WELCOME:
We are very interested in your comments about NoveList. You can use
NoveList's feedback function to send us your comments or suggestions for
authors and titles to be added to the NoveList database.
ACCESS TO NOVELIST:
We allow access to NoveList based on your IP address or User ID and
Password. To use the service, simply proceed to the address (URL) below:

If you have not registered your IP address(es), you will be prompted for
your User ID and Password (found at the bottom of this document).
Note: If you are using a login for NoveList and would like to set up a
cookie, please contact EBSCO Publishing Technical Support(see address

To access EBSCOadmin
--------------------
EBSCOadmin provides you, the library administrator, with a wide range of
capabilities for tailoring NoveList to suit your particular environment.
EBSCOadmin will allow you to add, delete, and modify validation information
and gather usage statistics. The service is available only on the World Wide
Web so you will need a browser to access it. Recommended browser
requirements: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0
<http://www.microsoft.com/ie/default.asp> or Netscape 4.06
<http://www.netscape.com>.
You will see a login screen prompting you for your Customer ID and Password.
Your site access information; Customer ID and Password; products available
for your use; and URLS for NoveList and EBSCOadmin are located in a block at
the bottom of this page.
EBSCOadmin allows you to change the Administrator Password if you wish.
NOTE: If you are unfamiliar with EBSCOadmin, you should contact EPTech for
assistance in understanding how this resource can be of use to you.
