This preservation grant opportunity is designated for buildings in
Washington and Hancock counties that are on the National Register of
Historic Places.  However, applications from small rural areas around
the state are welcome. The funding source is the Maine Community
Foundation's Belvedere Fund for Historic Preservation in partnership
with the Maine Historic Preservation Commission's New Century Grant
Program.  Awards will range from $1,000 to $50,000. 

The application deadline is Sept. 15.
