"Terms of Whitehead's contract have not been finalized".

Although I don't recall Lucia's salary, he reportedly has a few
incentives in his contract, including $10,000 bonuses for getting to the
Frozen Four and winning the National Championship.

What should an experienced, successful Maine men's head hockey coach be
paid?

   Competitive to other Maine major coaches?
   Competitive to major Maine Professors?
   Competitive to HEA coaches?
   Competitive nationally?
   Competitive to top national salaries?
   Competitive to Shawn Walsh's salary?

We may or may not hear the result and those comparisons.  Part of me
wants to know that UMaine does justice to Coach Whitehead;  a larger
part just shouts that it's none of my business.
