Maine ended up falling 4-3 to Cornell. Maine is now 10-8-3 and is
winless in its last three.

It stands to reason that for the first time in a long time Maine will
not be ranked in the Top 15 this week. (what do you guys think, about
five or six years?)

But that won't be even close to as scary as our Pairwise Ranking will
look when that comes out. There is at least some hope there. With
Maine playing mostly Hockey East teams the rest of the way, if they can
put together a serious win streak they could still play themselves into
the NCAA Tournament. However, that is a big IF and it becomes more and
more likely it will take defending their Hockey East title to get a
berth in the big dance.
