Team USA opened the 2002 Winter Olympics with an impressive 6-0 win over
Finland, backstopped by UMaine alum Mike Dunham.

Commentator Gary Thorne beamed with pride at Maine and his Black Bears more
than once. It was great to hear!!

Dunham looks strong!

On the flip side, Canadian star Paul Kariya did not score in Canada's 5-2
loss to Sweeden, despite being paired with Joe Sakic and Mario Lemieux in a
dream line combination.
