UND does seem to match up well with the Gophers. Personally, I can't
understand why their record is so bad. They always play pretty good against
the Gophers. Then again, in the WCHA, everyone "gets up" for Minnesota.
It I think UND has the kind of team that can rise up and beat
anyone on a given night, but doesn't sustain the quality of play needed for
week in and week out success. Anyone else with thoughts on the Sioux?
Let's go GOPHERS

Hi,
Well I would like to comment on the Sioux, I've been an avid Sioux
fan for the last 5 years. In the past two years the Sioux have been
plagued by poor defense and goaltending. If I'm not mistaken this
year only Colorado College had a higher goals against average. Also
there isn't anyone on the Sioux team, besides Greg Johnson, who has
been a consistant point maker. Even so the Sioux have played some great
hockey this year but not enough to overcome some of their defensive
problems. Perhaps next year we can see the National Title come back
to UND! :)
