St, Lawrence and Quninipiac played to a 2-2. It was actually more exciting that that sounds. The Bobcats scored in the first and second periods. Quinnipiac;s Marshall scored just 28 seconds into the game and Beaudoin scored at 9:49 of the second. In the third period SLU's Ross scored at 6:33. Fensel finsihed off the scoring with a goal with 0.2 seconds remaining on the clock. SLU had 23 shots and Quinnipiac had 30.
The game was sold out and they were selling standing room only tickets. I was disapointed to see so many empty seats in the arena. I guess they must have sold seasons tickets and ticket holders didn't show up. It also surprised me when large numbers of people started walking out of the game with 5 minutes left especially since SLU was really pressing and there was only a one goal lead. The SLU fans stayed and they were not disappointed.
