Doug's memory is accurate. That was the first Gopher game Paula and I attended
at what was then Williams Arena. Aaron Broten took the slapshot that ripped
through the back of the net. That would have been his 107th point that season.
After that game I said something like, "How about getting season tickets next
year?" ;-)
