I'm not sure where to find ECAC rules and I didn't see this covered in the
press release, so forgive me if this is a dumb question...
Since the ECAC is going from points to winning percentage for the
standings, how will they handle ties? Winning percentage is generally
number of games won divided by number of games, and since there are ties
in conference play, would the tie count the same as a loss? Unless they
have a policy like the Big Ten used to have in football (a tie equals a
half-win and half-loss), playing overtimes would be pointless.
Anyone see this mentioned?
