It seems any benefit an athlete would get that an "ordinary" student would
not get is a preference. The difference is then only of degree.
It is really sad that for a few hockey victories Union would sell its soul by
giving benefits to Canadian hockey players that would not go to US players.
Perhaps the hypocrisy ought to be ended- just pay the players and if they
want to go to class that is up to them.
Another sad day for Academia and the notion of clean college sports.
