I see your point, but "juco" time counts against your eligibility in
basketball. A player who plays two years of "junior basketball" comes into
division I as a junior. So this doesn't really fit with the age argument,
most college juniors who have played in junior colleges are 20 or 21 just
like their teammates that went straight from H.S. to college.
