ECAC Player of the Week
Hilary Witt, Northeastern
Sophomore, Forward (Canton, Massachusetts)
Witt tallied four goals and two assists in a 10-1 win over Boston
College and came back the next night to post three more goals in a 5-2
victory over previously undefeated Dartmouth. She finished the weekend
with seven goals and nine points.
ECAC Rookie of the Week
Jen Wiehn, Dartmouth
Forward (Tolland, Connecticut)
Wiehn scored the game-winning goal 3:45 into overtime to give
Dartmouth a 5-4 win at Harvard. She netted another goal earlier in the
game and an assist the next night against Northeastern for a three-point
weekend.
ECAC/Heaton Goaltender of the Week
Alanna Hayes, Cornell
Junior (Rochester, New York)
Hayes made 28 saves in a 3-0 win over Brown and turned aside 18
shots in a 3-2 victory over Providence. The win against Providence was
Cornell's first ever over the Friars in 28 games.
