Bill Fenwick's recent post about an all-decade ECAC team focused a bit of
attention on Chris Harvey (Brown '90) who ended up seeing more rubber
during his varsity career than Harvey Firestone.
Here are some amazing stats for a goaltender who played five-on-one hockey
with his opposition on many memorable occasions:
1986-1987:
679 saves; 4.26 goals against average; .885 save percentage; 22 games;
1,241 minutes; 9-14-0 record
1987-1988:
814 saves; 5.05 goals against average; .887 save percentage; 21 games;
1,235 minutes; 3-17-1 record
1988-1989:
738 saves; 5.92 goals against average; .849 save percentage; 23 games;
1,327 minutes; 1-22-0 record
63 save performance vs. St. Lawrence
1989-1990: First Team All-Ivy; Second Team All-America
Second Team All East;
*1,005 saves; 3.90 goals against average; .904 save percntge;
28 games; 1,646 minutes; 10-15-3 record
CAREER: 4.74 goals against average; .882 save percentage; *save average
34.43; 96 games; 5,450 minutes; 23-68-4 record
Still holds the NCAA Division I record with 3,326 career saves

Chris has been selected for induction to the Brown University Athletic
Hall of Fame at ceremonies scheduled on the Brown campus this Fall.
