I was pleased in watching last night's DU-CC game on Fox
Sports Rocky Mountain to hear a pep band playing in the background.
(Thus confirming the suspicions I had formed during the DU-Wisconsin
broadcast two weeks ago.) When I was at the Denver Cup last December,
I found a DU hockey boosters' newsletter. It featured an inverview
with the outgoing seniors, who said that one of the things they'd most
like to see is a pep band. So it looks like that came true. But I'm
a bit confused; the announcers talked about "where the band used to
sit" in the DU Ice Arena. Were they referring to a previous
incarnation, or was my impression that Denver didn't have a band last
year wrong?
