I noticed at the bottom of the last Hockey-l poll that Glen mentioned
that he could not include some of the polls since they had a copyright
notice on them. I am not trying to be the legal scholar of hockey-l, but
the last I knew, you could not copyright TEXT on the net. I may be
incorrect about this, but since communications by computer are not a
recognized form of communication, I would think that copyright laws would
not apply to on-line transmissions at all. Also, that is one reason why
some of the most avid supports of Internet are trying to have Congress
recognize e-mail as an official way of communication. That way, it will
officially fall under the protection of the first admendment.
