Another great game at the Alfond Arena tonight--Maine came from
behind to earn a tie and take 3 of 4 possible points on the weekend.

I really liked the Black Bear team defense, much improved from
the beginning of the season and still improving! Forwards did
a great job backchecking and tying up the Wildcats through the
neutral zone.

Kudos to the game's first star Michael Ayers on his return from
last night's laceration and keeping the Black Bears at bay in
the last minutes--including the save on the faceoff SOG with
one second left in the game.

I'm also very impressed at the grit, determination and intensity
displayed by the Black Bears throughout the weekend. Keep up
the good work!

P.S. -- I don't know about anybody else, but I could have done
without the local news' close-up on Ayers' gushing gash during
the dinnertime report! ;)
