I remember talking with relatives of his (Chuck Grillo, Ex San Jose scout and
general manager who runs Minnesota Hockey Camp, oldest son Rob Grillo, San
Jose scout and youngest son who skates on San Jose's farm team
and his wife Clairene) when Jason (Jason spent 6 summers at that camp under
the tutelage of the Grillos') was considering Maine.  They said Roger
(nephew) didn't get lots of ice at Maine. He ran his scholarship out on
education alone  rather than leave. So, Roger landed on his feet (sans
skates) despite his lack of ice time at Maine (-:
