MAINE 4, DENVER 3

The Maine Black Bears pulled out a win in Denver this afternoon over
the Pioneers, 4-3. Steve Kariya notched the game winner for Maine with
a little more than three minutes left in the game.

From the radio broadcast it sounds like Maine goaltender Alfie Michaud
was outstanding and the reason Maine came out on top in this one.
Michaud made several sparkling saves in the final two minutes to
preserve the win.

Marcus Gustafsson, Dan Kerluke and Niko Dimitrakos had the other goals
for Maine, while Paul Comrie, James Patterson and Gavin Morgan scored
for Denver.

With the win Maine moves to 12-1-3 on the year and will play in a huge
game at #2 Colorado College Sunday. Denver falls to 9-8 and will play
a large game of its own against New Hampshire on Sunday.
